Who is Erica working with?

  • Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union Academy (2012-2014),
  • Tuggeranong Hawks NEAFL team (2011-2013).

In addition, she has been working in private practice for the last 15 years, with recreational, national and international level athletes from a range of sports – currently at Specialist Sports Medicine Centre in Garran. She speaks on various sports nutrition topics within sporting clubs and schools around Canberra.

Erica will work with you, or with your team or school group to educate and create an optimal nutrition plan for ongoing health and/or sporting performance goals.

Qualifications, Professional Registrations and Memberships

Erica is an Accredited Sports Dietitian, an Accredited Practising Dietitian, an Accredited Nutritionist, a Level One Anthropometrist and a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician. Erica is a member of Sports Dietitians Australia and Dietitian’s Australia.

She has earned:
– a Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Science and Nutrition)
(University of Queensland, 2007),
– a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics
(Griffith University, 2010)
– the world renowned International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Nutrition
(IOC, 2016).

Erica has also completed FODMAP training (‘Low FODMAP Diet for IBS’) for health professionals with Monash University.

Erica collaborates with, and provides nutrition support to various clubs, schools and organisations around Canberra including:

  • Females in Training (FIT Canberra)
  • Canberra Girls Grammar School Podium Program

Professional Development

Erica attends the most renowned international sports nutrition conferences each year, such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), to bring you the latest and most effective means for achieving your goals.

Erica’s Masters research was accepted for a poster presentation at the European College of Sports Science Conference (ECSS) in 2011, in Liverpool, UK.

Bi-annually, Erica attends the Sports Dietitians Australia (SDA) conference and the Women in Sport Congress (WISC).

Sporting experience

Erica represented Australia in the sport of taekwondo from 2000-2004. She made the Australian Olympic Shadow Team for the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Erica has also represented the ACT in baseball and soccer.
