Hydration Monitoring
Are you an endurance athlete? Are you unsure of your hydration requirements for long training sessions or events?
If yes, read on….
Why monitor fluid needs?
– Your sweat rate (how much fluid you lose per hour during exercise) is unique to you. Hydration monitoring is crucial to knowing your unique fluid needs.
How fluid monitoring works:
I will request that you gather some data around your long training sessions, such as pre-session body weight, post-session body weight, and fluid and food consumed during your session. I am then able to work out your sweat rate per hour, allowing us to work out your event/race hydration needs.
After the 8 weeks you will know how to monitor your hydration needs yourself.
Please email me for more information
Price: $50 for 8 weeks of hydration monitoring. You will be sent a Google Sheet for monitoring.
I would recommend doing hydration monitoring for 8 weeks in both autumn/winter and spring/summer.
